Odisha Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati hosted a ceremonial dinner in honour of President of India Droupadi Murmu at Raj Bhavan on Thursday. Jayashree Kambhampati, the First Lady of Odisha, was also present at the event.
The banquet, organised as part of the President’s visit to Odisha, brought together several hundred guests representing diverse fields of public life.
Notable attendees included Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Priyanka Marndi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram, Odisha Legislative Assembly Speaker Surama Padhy, Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, members of the state cabinet, MPs, MLAs, senior government officials, and other distinguished personalities.
The evening highlighted Odisha’s longstanding tradition of extending warm hospitality to national leaders and provided an opportunity for key figures from governance, administration, and public service to interact in an informal setting.
