Bhubaneswar: Acclaimed Odia feature film ‘Pratikshya’ which has been short-listed to be screened at International Film Festival of India (IFFI), has drawn attention of the Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal.
The Governor has expressed happiness and congratulated the entire team of the film
In a tweet, his office stated “Hon’ble Governor is happy to learn that Odia film ‘Pratikshya’ has been selected to be screened as part of the Indian Panorama of @IFFIGoa, organised by @nfdcindia and congratulated Director of the film, Sri Anupam Patnaik and others associated with this”.

The flick directed by Anupam Patnaik is among 25 other Indian feature films which will be screened at the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) scheduled from November 20 to 28 in Goa.
The Indian Panoram has announced the selection of 25 feature films and 20 non feature films. The selected films will be showcased at the 53rd IFFI.
A package of 25 Feature films have been selected to be screened in the Indian Panorama section at 53rd IFFI from a broad spectrum of 354 qualifying contemporary Indian feature films. The following package of feature films reflects the vibrancy and diversity of the Indian film industry.
Director Anupam Patnaik greeted the entire team, terming the selection of the movie for an international platform as ‘Big Achievement’.
Patnaik made the movie with almost all the new comers.
