Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will chair the high-level meeting, which is also likely to clear important proposals from the Panchayati Raj, School and Mass Education, Works, and other departments.
Delivering a significant update, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Minister Rabi Narayan Naik confirmed that the PESA Act will be implemented in the state very soon. “The proposal for the PESA Act will be presented in the upcoming Cabinet meeting. Preparations have reached the final stage. We have held detailed discussions with all stakeholders so that the Act can be implemented smoothly and in a manner convenient and suitable for everyone,” the Minister told the media.
