Odisha registered 230 corruption cases against government officials and employees between April 2025 and March 2026. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi shared the figures in a written reply in the Assembly.
Among those named, 52 were first-class officers, and 41 were second-class officers. Courts completed trials in 206 cases, convicting 102 officials. Authorities dismissed 23 government employees from service after proving charges of corruption.
Vigilance officials intensified raids during the year and seized ₹10.27 crore in cash. They also confiscated immovable and movable properties worth ₹4.76 crore. The crackdown highlighted the government’s commitment to fighting corruption and ensuring accountability in public service.
Majhi emphasised that vigilance operations will continue across departments. He said the government remains determined to punish guilty officials and protect public resources.
