Cuttack: The Barabati Stadium in Cuttack is all set to host the much-anticipated second ODI between India and England today. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who purchased the first ticket for the match, will be among the spectators witnessing the thrilling encounter.
The CM will be accompanied by several Cabinet ministers, including Speaker Surama Padhy, Ministers Mukesh Mahanling, and Krushna Chandra Patra, among others. Special arrangements have been made for VVIPs in the legendary box near the old pavilion beside the Club Tower.
According to sources, the Chief Minister is scheduled to arrive at 12:30 PM, an hour before the match begins, and will stay until 9:00 PM. Additionally, 60 distinguished personalities who have brought pride to Odisha in various fields have been invited by the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) to watch the game from the legendary box.
Notably, KIIT and KIMS founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta will also be present to witness the action at Barabati Stadium, as cricket fever grips the city.
