Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi praised the armed forces for their unparalleled bravery displayed during Operation Sindoor, asserting that every Indian takes immense pride in their courage.
Participating in a massive Tiranga Yatra at Sarasara village in Boudh district, Majhi emphasised that the operation was one of the boldest military strikes within Pakistani territory since 1971. He reaffirmed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stance that any terrorist attack against India would be treated as an act of war.
The Tiranga Yatra, which has gained momentum across Odisha, symbolises India’s growing unity and resolve in combating terrorism. Hundreds of women joined the march, waving the tricolour and chanting patriotic slogans like “Jai Hind” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”
Majhi marched alongside BJP MP Sukant Kumar Panigrahi, party chief whip Saroj Kumar Pradhan, and Kantamal MLA Kanhai Charan Dang, underscoring the political leadership’s commitment to honouring the nation’s security forces.
He urged citizens to participate in the Tiranga Yatra and stand in solidarity with India’s soldiers, stating that Operation Sindoor has elevated India’s global military stature.
The Odisha Chief Minister reiterated that India’s defence forces have always been capable, but prior political restraints prevented strong retaliatory action in the past.
“This victory belongs to every Indian,” Majhi stated, adding that Operation Sindoor serves as a powerful reminder that India will always defend its sovereignty with unwavering strength.
