In a powerful demonstration of leadership and civic responsibility, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday actively participated in the ongoing ‘Special Intensive Revision-2026’ (SIR-2026) voter list revision campaign by filling up the enumeration form at his native village Raikala in Keonjhar district.

The Chief Minister personally completed the voter details form at his residence, setting a strong example for citizens to update and correct their electoral records. The Booth Level Officer (BLO) of the Raikala booth handed over the form to the CM, while Keonjhar District Collector and District Election Officer Vishal Singh was present to witness the entire process.

This high-profile participation in the Election Commission of India-directed drive is expected to create significant awareness among the public and motivate eligible voters to get their names included, corrected, or updated in the electoral rolls.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of having a clean, accurate, and error-free voters’ list. He called upon all citizens to cooperate with the district administration and Booth Level Officers who are conducting door-to-door verification during the revision period.

The district administration has appealed to all eligible voters to actively participate in the SIR-2026 campaign and extend full support to BLOs visiting households. Officials believe that the Chief Minister’s personal involvement will inspire large-scale public participation and strengthen the democratic process in the district.

The Special Intensive Revision-2026 is currently underway across Keonjhar district as per the directives of the Election Commission of India.
