Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today presided over the 19th round of the grievance hearing programme at the Unit‑2 grievance cell in Bhubaneswar, accompanied by six senior ministers and top officials.

The CM emphasised that every complaint is being closely monitored from the state to the district level, resulting in rising resolution rates and growing public trust in the system. He noted that 96% of grievances received in 18 earlier state‑level sessions had already been resolved, while district‑level hearings achieved an 89% resolution rate by June.

During today’s session, Majhi personally met differently‑abled and critically ill citizens waiting outside the venue, listened to their concerns, and directed immediate action. He sanctioned ₹6.15 lakh in medical assistance for 12 patients under the single‑window system, leaving them reassured.

Over 700 petitions were received both online and offline during the session. The CM reiterated that his government is committed to being “a government of the people,” prioritising citizen issues and strengthening trust in administrative mechanisms.

Senior ministers including Suresh Pujari, Nityananda Gond, Bibhuti Bhushan Jena, Rabi Narayan Naik, Sampad Chandra Swain, and Gokulananda Mallik joined the hearing, alongside senior secretaries and officials from multiple departments.
