Dr. Stalin Mishra, a prominent technocrat, social leader, and CEO of Singapore-based Seat Papers Pte. Ltd., has been appointed as a Member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at the Central University of Haryana (CUH).

This announcement, made in September 2025, highlights CUH’s commitment to elevating its quality standards in accordance with UGC and NAAC guidelines.

In a statement expressing his appreciation, Dr. Mishra said, “I am deeply thankful to Prof. (Dr.) Tankeswar Kumar, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, and the dignitaries of CUH for this trust. I look forward to contributing my best capacity and expertise to strengthen the university’s quality assurance framework in line with UGC and NAAC guidelines.”

With more than 20 years in the global IT sector, Dr. Mishra brings a wealth of experience to the role. Originally from Odisha, he has made significant contributions at the crossroads of technology, education, and social development. His international recognition as a social worker underscores his holistic approach to societal progress.

Dr. Mishra also praised the National Education Policy (NEP), crediting it to the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Hon’ble Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan Ji. He described the NEP as a “transformative and much-needed step” that is crucial for aligning academic curricula with industry demands.

“The NEP is playing a pivotal role in bridging the gap between industry expectations and student skillsets,” Dr. Mishra elaborated. “In today’s scenario, universities must not restrict themselves to academics alone, but focus on employability, industry readiness, and building a university marketplace that connects research outcomes with emerging industries in a bi-directional monetisation ecosystem.”

The IQAC at CUH plays a vital role in maintaining and improving the quality of higher education. Dr Mishra’s appointment is anticipated to infuse the cell with innovative strategies drawn from his global tech background, fostering a more dynamic and industry-oriented educational environment.
