The seventh session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly is officially scheduled to commence on September 22, 2026, following a notification released today by the Assembly Secretariat.
According to the official release, the upcoming session will run through October 3, 2026. Over this period, the House will sit for a total of nine working days. The agenda includes eight official government business days alongside one day dedicated to private members’ business.
The schedule also incorporates planned adjournments for public holidays. Proceedings will be suspended on September 26 and 27 due to official government holidays, as well as on October 2 in observance of Gandhi Jayanti.
With key legislative matters and government business lined up, the nine-day session is set to draw significant attention as lawmakers gather in Bhubaneswar later this month.
