In a move aimed at alleviating the challenges of peak summer, TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) has announced that there will be no scheduled power outages for routine maintenance work till June 15, 2025.
As temperatures soar across Odisha, uninterrupted electricity supply is crucial for consumer comfort and well-being.
TPCODL, a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, has assured its customers that routine maintenance shutdowns will be temporarily suspended to ensure an uninterrupted power supply. However, the company clarified that power disruptions might still occur in exceptional cases such as new service connections, safety-related emergencies, or urgent infrastructure upgrades. In such instances, affected consumers will be notified in advance.
Arvind Singh, CEO of TPCODL, emphasised the company’s commitment to consumer welfare, stating, “We understand the importance of uninterrupted power during the summer months. Our field teams are working relentlessly to ensure a reliable power supply while addressing critical operational needs with care.”
Odisha’s residents can now look forward to a summer season with fewer power interruptions, ensuring enhanced productivity and comfort.
