To bolster the Digital India initiative, the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has entered into Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with eight esteemed organisations.
The event, held at Electronics Niketan, New Delhi, on April 25, 2025, marked a new chapter in fostering innovation, skilling, and research in the realm of electronics and IT.
The collaborating entities include the Semiconductor Laboratory (SCL), ERNET India, Amrita University, National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), Heartfulness Institute, Kyndryl India, Skyroot Aerospace, and the Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR). These partnerships aim to bridge the gap between academia, industry, and government, promoting cutting-edge research, curriculum development, and capacity building.
Sh. S. Krishnan, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in creating a digitally empowered society. Under his leadership and the guidance of Dr. M. M. Tripathi, Director General of NIELIT, these alliances are set to cultivate a future-ready workforce equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in a digital economy.
