Malkangiri: A team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted a raid in Anantapalli village, under Motu police limits in Malkangiri district, due to suspected Maoist activities.
According to sources, the team from Hyderabad arrived at the village around 3 AM and executed a raid at the residence one Mantosh Mandal, with assistance from the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Voluntary (DVF) of Mangiri. Searches were also conducted in the houses of two of his associates.
Furthermore, sources that simultaneous raids are ongoing at two locations within the Sukma area of neighbouring Chhattisgarh.
