Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj has ventured into the culinary world with the launch of his first restaurant, ‘Joharfa’, in Hyderabad. The restaurant, located in the heart of the city, blends Siraj’s passion for food, culture, and community, serving as a heartfelt tribute to the city that shaped his identity.

“Joharfa is very close to my heart. Hyderabad gave me my identity, and this is my way of giving something back—a place where people can come together and share flavours that feel like home,” Siraj stated in a press release.

Joharfa promises a diverse menu, fusing Mughlai, Persian, and Arabian cuisines with select Chinese offerings, crafted to appeal to both traditional and modern palates. The restaurant is run by a team of experienced chefs focused on using fresh, high-quality ingredients and preserving authentic cooking techniques.

With its blend of nostalgia and innovation, Siraj envisions Joharfa not just as a dining space, but as a cultural experience that celebrates the rich culinary heritage of Hyderabad.
