In a concerning incident on Tuesday, two individuals sustained serious injuries after being struck by a Mo Bus at Master Canteen Square in Bhubaneswar.

The victims, identified as Ranjit Behera and Hrudananda Mohanty, were waiting for an auto-rickshaw when the accident occurred. Behera suffered injuries to his right leg, while Mohanty sustained injuries to his shoulder and waist. Both had just arrived from Puri for court-related matters.

Eyewitnesses allege that the bus was being driven recklessly. Following the accident, the victims were transported to Capital Hospital for treatment. Family members also claimed that the bus staff assaulted them after the incident.

This event adds to a series of recent accidents involving Mo Buses in the city. Earlier this month, two women were critically injured in a Mo Bus accident at Chandrasekharpur BDA Square, and a minor girl was fatally struck by a Mo Bus in the Nandankanan area.
