Balipatna: Six armed miscreants allegedly looted cash after intercepting a car at Aitalang on Balipatna-Nimapada road under Balipatna police limits in Khordha district today.
Reportedly, the incident took place while one Sushant Sahoo and Pramod Maharana of Simulia had gone to Naroda village in Balipatna when some miscreants intercepted their car and looted their mobile phones, cash, and wallets from the duo at gunpoint.
The villagers tried to nab the miscreants. However, they managed to flee from the spot.
On being informed, police reached the spot and initiated an investigation in this regard.
