Sambalpur: A teacher was hacked to death by an unidentified miscreant in Hadipali village under Kuchinda police station limits of Sambalpur district.
The deceased was identified as Ramchandra Jaipuria (45).
Reportedly, the incident took place while Ramchandra was heading towards Jharmunda pond to take bath when a miscreant attacked him and fled with Ramchandra’s motorcycle.
On hearing Jaipuriya’s scream, locals rushed to the spot and took the victim to the Kuchinda hospital. However, Jaipuria succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
On receiving information, police arrived and launched a probe in this regard.
