Kandhamal: Police have detained three persons for allegedly gang-raping a minor girl and filming the crime in Khajuripada area of Kandhamal district.
The identities of the accused were not known immediately.
As per the complaint, the accused of their village took the girl to an under-construction house and outraged her modesty there. While two of them raped her, one filmed the crime on his mobile phone.
Moreover, the accused threatened the minor to release her video on social media if she discloses the incident to anyone. However, her father came to know about the incident and lodged a written complaint at Khajuripada Police Station.
Acting on the complaint, the police produced the minor girl before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and initiated medical examination and other procedures of the accused.
