In a bold step toward redefining wearable technology, Meta has partnered with iconic sportswear brand Oakley to launch the Oakley Meta HSTN — a new generation of AI-powered smart glasses crafted especially for athletes and active users.

Unveiled as part of a global campaign featuring stars like football legend Kylian Mbappé and NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes, the glasses promise a seamless fusion of performance, connectivity, and style.

Smart Features for Smarter Moves

Inspired by Oakley’s HSTN frame design, the Meta HSTN smart glasses come packed with advanced functionalities:

  • A 3K front-facing camera captures crisp, point-of-view footage of sports and adventures.
  • Open-ear speakers allow users to stay aware of their surroundings while enjoying music or taking calls.
  • Built-in Meta AI delivers real-time assistance — from checking weather conditions mid-workout to posting videos with voice commands.
  • IPX4-rated water resistance ensures reliability during rain or sweaty sessions.

Battery & Connectivity

The device delivers up to 8 hours of battery life on a full charge, while a quick 20-minute recharge offers up to 50% power. The included case extends usability by offering an additional 48 hours of juice — perfect for athletes on the move.

Availability & Pricing

The limited-edition Oakley Meta HSTN will be available for pre-order starting July 11 at $499 (approx. ₹43,200). Standard versions, priced from $399 (approx. ₹34,600), will roll out later this summer across North America, Europe, and Australia. India, Mexico, and the UAE are on track to receive the launch by year-end.

This marks yet another stride in Meta’s broader ambition to integrate AI into lifestyle accessories, making high-performance tools more wearable and intuitive.

In the viral video, Aneet Padda cutely told the paparazzi, “Mujhe sharam aa rahi hai.” In a recent interview with Zoom TV, director Mohit Suri reacted to this viral clip and explained, “The only thing I always told Aneet was to be honest, I said you are perfect as you are, and there is no right thing to say. When she had asked me if I wanted to tell them I was feeling shy? I said ‘say it’. We have become a generation that is supposed to have the answers. What’s wrong with being vulnerable? She went there, and when they were clicking, she said ‘mujhe sharam aa rahi hai’, and I think it was the most honest thing to be, rather than pretend to be what you are not.”
