East Coast Railway will short-terminate and short-originate two MEMU services at Khallikote railway station on 15, 16 and 19 September 2026 because of safety-related modernisation work on the Brahmapur–Rambha Down line in the Khurda Road Division.
Train No. 68411 Bhubaneswar–Brahmapur MEMU will end its journey at Khallikote instead of Brahmapur on those three dates. Train No. 68412 Brahmapur–Bhubaneswar MEMU will start from Khallikote rather than Brahmapur.
As a result, there will be no MEMU service between Khallikote and Brahmapur on 15, 16 and 19 September.
Railway officials said the changes are required for the modernisation works and advised passengers to check the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or official railway enquiry channels before travel and to adjust their plans accordingly.
