Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each for the next of the kin of the persons, who were in the road accident in Mayurbhanj district.
CM Naveen expressed deep grief over the death of the five persons and conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved families.
As per the Chief Minister’s Office, four among the deceased belonged from Odisha, while one other hailed from Jharkhand.
Notably, as many as five people lost their lives after a tractor lost balance in Mayurbhanj district, Odisha. According to the locals, the tractor lost balance on the road and fell 15 feet into the ditch.
