Maruti Suzuki India, the nation’s largest carmaker, announced today a price hike for select models, with increases ranging from Rs 2,500 to Rs 62,000.
This marks the second price revision by the company in 2025, following a 4% increase earlier in January.
Affected models include popular vehicles such as WagonR, Eeco, Ertiga, XL6, Dzire Tour S, Fronx, and the Grand Vitara. The flagship SUV, Grand Vitara, recorded the highest hike of ₹62,000, while the Fronx saw the lowest increase of ₹2,500. The updated pricing structure comes into effect immediately.
Maruti Suzuki attributes the rise to growing input costs, higher operational expenses, regulatory adjustments, and the addition of new features. As a market leader, the company ensures that the adjustments are strategically planned to align with industry standards and consumer expectations.
This price hike, though a routine practice for automakers, reflects the ongoing pressures faced by the automotive industry. Customers eyeing Maruti Suzuki cars may need to act swiftly to secure models at pre-revision prices.
