As per reports, Pulak got married for the second time three months back following the death of his first wife. His second wife went to her father’s house on Monday. After spending two days there, she returned to Nayagarh to her husband’s place. There, she discovered that the door was locked from the inside.
Despite her efforts to open the door, she was unsuccessful. Concerned and suspicious, she promptly informed the police. In the presence of the local magistrate, the Town Police arrived at the scene late at night and forcibly entered Pulak’s house.
To their horror, they found the lifeless body of his daughter on the bed, while Pulak’s body was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan. The police have initiated an investigation to uncover the motive behind Pulak’s drastic actions of killing his daughter and taking his own life.
Although they have begun questioning Pulak’s second wife and her family members, they have not yet found a conclusive reason behind the tragic events. The incident has had a profound impact on the community, leaving residents bewildered as to why such a seemingly normal person would commit such an unthinkable act.
