Bolangir: Police here on Thursday arrested, prime accused Gobinda Sahu’s associate, Radhe in connection with the murder of Mamita Meher.
According to reports, the accused has been forwarded to Bangomunda SDJM court.
Meanwhile, JCB driver Pushkar Bhoi, who had dug up the pit in Mahaling stadium, is likely to be set free by police.
Notably, the president of a school managing committee, Gobinda Sahu, who was apprehended from a sugarcane field confessed to have killed lady teacher Mamita Meher.
Mamita Meher (24) of Jharni village under Turekela block of Bolangir district, who was working as a teacher at the Sunshine English Medium School at Mahaling in Kalahandi district, had been missing since October 8. Her body was yesterday exhumed from an under-construction stadium site of Sunshine English Medium School at Mahaling in Kalahandi district.
