The Lok Bhavan Garden in Bhubaneswar will remain open to the public from January 10 to January 20, offering visitors a chance to enjoy its natural beauty and serene environment.
Authorities announced that entry will be permitted only through mobile app registration, and no entry fee will be charged. Visitors must download the official Lok Bhavan Odisha Garden Visit app from the Play Store or App Store, or via the QR code available on the Lok Bhavan website.
Visiting Hours
- General public: 2:30 PM – 6:15 PM
- School students: 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM (with prior request letters from school authorities to ADC/RI Lok Bhavan)
Students must visit in school uniform, carrying their ID cards, and remain under the supervision of teachers or school staff.
Entry & Exit Points
- Entry: Gate No. 3 near New Abhishek Hall
- Exit: Gate near Security Barrack
Annual Attraction
The annual opening of Lok Bhavan Garden is a much-anticipated event for citizens and students alike. Every year, large crowds gather to experience the lush greenery, landscaped gardens, and peaceful surroundings.
This year’s highlight is the newly inaugurated “Atal Ban”, opened on January 7. The attraction features:
- A T-55 battle tank
- A replica of the Rafale fighter jet
- A scenic water reservoir and waterfall
