Jatni: A labourer was electrocuted to death after coming in contact with a live electric wire in the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
The deceased has been identified as Hatkeswar Barik (45) of Tangi Bhansar area.
Reportedly, the labourer was engaged in Construction work required by one Sarat Chandra Das when he accidentally came in contact with the live wire. He was immediately rushed to hospital in a critical condition where the doctors declared him brought dead.
On being informed, police reached the spot and launched a probe in this regard. However, no complaint has been filed so far, sources said.
