Koraput: The dead body of the minor girl, who was swept away in the Jhanjabati river in Koraput district was found after three days.
Two days after the 8-month-old pregnant mother and 6-year-old daughter drowned in the Jhanjabati river, the Koraput rescue team found the body of the pregnant mother and the body of the minor was recovered this morning.
The Narayanpatna fire service personnel searched the girl for three days, about 100 km away from the incident site. This morning some people of Kharikana village were fishing in that area and noticed the dead body of the girl floating in the river. They informed the fire department about this.
On intimation, the fire brigades rushed to the spot and fished out the body. The body was sent to the Community Health Centre for post-mortem. People are heard to have recovered the dead bodies.
