Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif (42) and Vicky Kaushal (37) have delighted fans by announcing that they are expecting their first child.
The couple shared an intimate Instagram post featuring them together, with Katrina cradling her baby bump.
Their caption read, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.”
Fans and celebrities immediately flooded the post with congratulatory messages. Actor Varun Dhawan wrote, “My heart is full,” while several fans playfully referred to the upcoming arrival as “Chotti Kat ya Vicky” (a tiny Kat or Vicky). Others expressed joy and excitement, celebrating the couple’s growing family.
Katrina had previously expressed her dreams of marriage and motherhood back in 2010, long before meeting Vicky Kaushal.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan India, she had said, “I belong to that mindset where having a husband and children are very important. I dream of being married and having kids and living happily ever after.”
The couple tied the knot in a grand ceremony at the Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara, in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, in 2021. Though they have not worked together in any films, their personal life continues to capture public fascination.
The pregnancy news follows recent speculation fueled by pictures from Katrina’s ad shoots, where her baby bump was noticeable, confirming what fans had been eagerly anticipating.
