The Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy chiefs, along with the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), were closely monitoring Operation Sindoor from the command centre as the forces launched precision strikes against terror targets.
The first-ever images from inside the control room depict the military leadership overseeing every operational movement, ensuring flawless execution of the mission.
The Operation Sindoor control room was buzzing with strategic coordination as India demonstrated its military prowess. With advanced surveillance and intelligence inputs guiding the strikes, the mission was carried out with unwavering precision and tactical excellence.
In response to the devastating Pahalgam attack that occurred on April 22, the Indian Armed Forces executed ‘Operation Sindoor’ on the night of May 6–7, successfully targeting multiple terrorist hubs in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Images accessed from the Indian Army show the intense coordination of India’s top military leaders—Chief of the Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, and Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi—as they monitored the operation from the command centre.
Over 100 terrorists were eliminated during the mission, with no civilian casualties reported. The strikes destroyed major terrorist training facilities, including the Gulpur and Abbas camps in Kotli and Barnala in Bhimber, which were crucial for groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen.
According to officials, Operation Sindoor was launched after definitive intelligence established cross-border links to the Pahalgam attack, which claimed the lives of 26 people. The precision air strikes were conducted to neutralise these threats and reinforce India’s stance against terrorism.
As the operation unfolds, geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan remain high, with global leaders closely monitoring the situation. More updates on the aftermath of Operation Sindoor are expected in the coming days.
