Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) is a US military base located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.
RIMPAC-24, the world’s largest international maritime exercise, spans over six weeks of intensive operations and training, aiming to enhance interoperability and foster trust among the navies of participating friendly nations.
Approximately 29 countries, led by the US Navy, are taking part in this edition of the comprehensive exercise.
The Indian multi-role stealth frigate INS Shivalik, deployed on a mission in the South China Sea and North Pacific Ocean, arrived at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii on June 29 to participate in the 29th edition of the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise.
Following the completion of JIMEX 24, a bilateral exercise with Japan, INS Shivalik docked at Pearl Harbor on Thursday.
