India signed off their World Archery Para Series Stage III campaign in style, winning two gold and four bronze medals on the final day.
World No. 1 and reigning world champion Sheetal Devi held her nerve in a dramatic shoot‑off to clinch the compound women’s individual gold, while double Paralympics medallist Harvinder Singh, paired with Bhawna, powered India to gold in the recurve mixed team event with a straight‑sets win over China.
Bhawna added a bronze in the para recurve women’s play‑off, defeating compatriot Rajshree Rathod 6‑0. Sheetal also teamed up with Toman Kumar to secure bronze in the compound mixed team event, dominating Iraq 157‑145.
India’s medal tally was further boosted by Sarita, who edged China’s Wang Huiting 141‑140 for bronze in the compound women’s individual event, and Toman Kumar, who defeated Iraq’s Abbas Kadhim 143‑138 to claim bronze in the compound men’s individual category.
The stellar performances capped a successful campaign, reaffirming India’s rising strength in para archery ahead of next year’s Paralympic cycle.
