The Men’s Selection Committee has officially announced the India A squads for the upcoming multi-format home series against Australia A, featuring two multi-day matches and three one-day games hosted in Puducherry.
Devdutt Padikkal will captain the red-ball multi-day squad, with Sai Sudharsan serving as his deputy. The multi-day team boasts a balanced mix of domestic red-ball talents, including Aman Mokhade, Ayush Pandey, Yash Rathod, Shaik Rasheed, and wicket-keepers Kumar Kushagra and N Jagadeesan, alongside bowlers like Tushar Deshpande and V Vyshak (subject to fitness clearance).
For the 50-over white-ball leg, Ruturaj Gaikwad has been named captain, with Sai Sudharsan stepping in as vice-captain. The one-day squad features high-profile names such as Priyansh Arya, Rajat Patidar, and all-rounder Hardik Pandya (subject to fitness clearance), providing a robust blend of experience and emerging talent.
The series kicks off with the first multi-day fixture on September 22, 2026, culminating in a three-match one-day series running through October 11, 2026.
