New Zealand delivered a brutal display of power-hitting to post a staggering 259/7 in 20 overs against India in the fourth T20I at Eden Park.
Choosing to bowl first, India briefly found success as fast bowler Mayank Yadav snared three key wickets. However, Glenn Phillips completely turned the tide, smashing a sensational 107 off just 49 deliveries.
Phillips found eager company in Michael Bracewell, who tore into the bowling attack with a blistering 65 from 25 balls to construct a game-changing 100-run partnership. Opener Finn Allen set the initial tempo with a brisk 31 off 17 balls.
The Kiwis accumulated the highest T20I total ever scored against India, leaving the visitors facing a daunting target of 260 runs at a required rate of 13 runs per over.
