The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for multiple districts in Odisha due to the formation of a low-pressure area over southwest Bihar and its adjoining regions, which is expected to cause thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds over the next four days.
The weather system is currently accompanied by an upper air cyclonic circulation and is likely to weaken gradually while moving northwestward over the next 12 hours.

Yellow warning continues for:
Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur.

Thunderstorms and heavy rainfall are expected in:
Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Balasore, Bhadrak.
