The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a comprehensive seven-day severe weather warning for the state of Odisha.
From May 6 to May 12, 2026, the region is expected to experience significant weather disruptions, including light to moderate rainfall, sudden thunderstorms, lightning strikes, gusty winds, and isolated hailstorms.
Residents and local authorities are advised to exercise caution and stay updated as the upper air cyclonic circulation over the region drives these unstable weather patterns.
