The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense fog in Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Kendrapara, and Bhadrak districts on January 29 and 30, 2026.
The regional office has issued a yellow warning for these areas, cautioning residents about reduced visibility during early morning hours. The IMD stated, “Dense fog very likely to occur at isolated pockets in districts of Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Kendrapada & Bhadrak.”
Residents are urged to remain cautious while commuting, particularly in the morning, as fog may disrupt travel and pose risks for road safety.
