IIT Delhi Student Found Dead Inside Hostel Room

A second-year student at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi was found dead in his hostel room on Wednesday, prompting an investigation by authorities.


According to initial reports, the student was discovered unresponsive in his room by fellow hostel residents. Emergency services were notified immediately, but he was declared dead at the scene.

Police officials have launched an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident. While the cause of death has yet to be confirmed, authorities are examining all possible angles, including medical conditions and external factors.

Campus officials have expressed their condolences, stating that counselling services will be made available to students affected by the incident.
