Usha Padhee, Chairperson of IDCO, visited Kuspangi and Bali villages in Athagarh Tahsil, Cuttack district, to review plans for upcoming industrial parks aimed at boosting Odisha’s industrial infrastructure.
She inspected identified land parcels along with the Collector and senior officials from IDCO and the district administration. The team assessed land availability, connectivity, and essential infrastructure such as power, water supply, and road access.
During the visit, officials highlighted that well-planned industrial parks form a crucial part of Odisha’s strategy to attract investments, strengthen industrial ecosystems, and ensure balanced regional development. The proposed parks at Kuspangi hold strong potential to draw new industries and generate employment opportunities for local youth.
Padhee stressed the need for close coordination between IDCO and the district administration to expedite planning and ensure the timely execution of the projects. She underlined the importance of aligning infrastructure development with investor requirements to make the parks competitive and sustainable.
