The ICC unveiled the Team of the Tournament for the 2025 Men’s Champions Trophy, highlighting the standout performers who lit up the competition with extraordinary skills.


Player of the Tournament, Rachin Ravindra from New Zealand, tops the list with 251 runs at an average of 62.75 and two remarkable centuries.

Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran follows, having amassed 216 runs, including the highest individual score in the tournament’s history.

India’s cricket sensation Virat Kohli is celebrated for his 218 runs and the milestone of surpassing 14,000 ODI runs.

Consistency was key for Shreyas Iyer, who notched up 243 runs at an average of 48.6. KL Rahul, the dependable wicketkeeper-batsman, scored 140 runs and was instrumental in India’s knockout victories.

New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips dazzled with both bat and field, scoring 177 runs and taking five spectacular catches.

Afghanistan’s all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai impressed with 126 runs and seven wickets, including a five-wicket haul.

New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner showcased his prowess with nine wickets and effective leadership.

India’s Mohammed Shami and New Zealand’s Matt Henry were key bowlers, taking nine and ten wickets, respectively. Varun Chakaravarthy made nine wickets, proving his worth in high-stakes matches.

As the 12th player, India’s Axar Patel contributed significantly with both bat and ball, adding depth to the squad.

India’s triumph over New Zealand in the final was the crowning glory of a tournament filled with exceptional performances and unforgettable moments.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has once again showcased the very best of international cricket.
