Sonam Raghuvanshi, accused of orchestrating her husband’s murder during their honeymoon in Meghalaya, broke down before the Special Investigation Team (SIT), confessing her role in the crime.
Investigators presented CCTV footage capturing her meeting the hired killers after the murder, and a blood-stained shirt recovered from the crime scene.
Sonam admitted to planning the crime with her alleged lover, Raj Kushwaha, who confessed a day earlier. The police also confirmed that three contract killers—Vishal, Akash, and Anand—were involved in the act.
According to ACP Poonam Chand Yadav, Raja Raghuvanshi’s wife was at the crime scene and witnessed his murder. As the investigation unfolds, legal proceedings against all accused are expected to intensify.
