Celebrating India’s Linguistic and Cultural Diversity
The majestic Kalinga Literary Festival (KLF) inaugurated its 11th edition today, radiating the theme of India’s linguistic and cultural vibrancy. Honourable Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati graced the occasion and highlighted the pivotal role of literature in connecting diverse languages and traditions.
At the event, Dr Kambhampati said, “Dynamic diversity is the essence of India’s linguistic tradition and cultural heritage. Our civilization embraces intellectual freedom while celebrating the unity in diversity of languages.”
The governor applauded Odisha’s literary and intellectual legacy, showcasing its contribution to enriching India’s heritage.
Dr. Kambhampati emphasized literature’s transformative power in shaping society, influencing thought, and inspiring change amidst rapid technological advancements.
The festival also featured dignitaries such as Union Minister of Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Indonesia’s Ambassador Ina H. Krisnamurthi.
Renowned authors, intellectuals, and cultural ambassadors joined hands to celebrate the power of the written word.
