Ganjam: The Ganjam district administration has allowed the performance of Danda Nacha with the participation of local artistes by adhering to COVID-19 norms.
Earlier, the Danda artistes were aggrieved over the decision of the district administration that allowed only 200 people to participate in the performances.
The district administration circular has stipulated that if any observance exceeds 200 people then the organizer will be held responsible and penalized.
The circular had also asked the Danda Yatra organizers to refrain from feasting and staging cultural programmes.
