Ganjam: At least five school students sustained critical injuries after an auto-rickshaw they were travelling in were hit by a tractor at Palaspur under Patapur police station limits in Ganjam district on Thursday morning.
According to reports, the auto-rickshaw, carrying students, was heading towards Adarsha Vidyalaya at Chhanameri from Jura Rangpur in Sanakhemudi when the tractor hit the vehicle near Kali Temple at Palaspur.
Soon after the incident, police reached the spot and admitted the injured students to Digapahandi hospital. They have been shifted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.
