Today, in an extraordinary display of love and respect, millions of people worldwide bid farewell to Pope Francis in a historic funeral held at St. Peter’s Basilica.
Over 250,000 mourners, including heads of state, monarchs, and global figures, gathered to celebrate the life of a Pontiff who was revered for his humility, inclusiveness, and advocacy for the marginalised.
The day began with an emotional ceremony at St. Peter’s Basilica, followed by a procession leading to St. Mary Major Basilica in Rome.
