A shocking double murder has sent shockwaves through the Hemgir area of Sundargarh district in Odisha.
On Saturday evening, a 70-year-old woman and her daughter were allegedly hacked to death in a gruesome attack over a suspected family dispute.
The victims have been identified as Rukmini Sui and her daughter, Bilasini Sui, a widow. According to police sources, the incident occurred at Badapada village while the mother-daughter duo was returning home after fetching water from a nearby tube well.
