Elderly Man Trampled To Death In Sundergarh

Sundergarh: An elderly man was trampled to death by an elephant at Kutra locality of Sundargarh district late last night. The deceased has been identified as Kiran Dungdung, a resident of Churichoka village under Kutra police limits in Panchora section. According to reports, the pachyderm barged into the Churichoka village late last night. Some villagers were trying to drive the jumbo away when it attacked them following which the old man was killed. On being informed, forest officials arrived at the spot and recovered the body.
