According to trade analysts, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has collected ₹66 crore nett (₹80 crore gross) in India during its two-week theatrical run. The producers, Desi Movies Factory, have shared updated figures, stating that the film has earned ₹86.1 crore gross domestically and an additional ₹15 crore from overseas markets, bringing the total worldwide collection to ₹101 crore.
Some trade trackers estimate the global tally at around ₹92 crore, suggesting it will comfortably surpass the ₹100 crore mark within the coming days if it hasn’t already.
Beating Other Romantic Dramas
With its strong second-weekend performance, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has now outperformed several other romantic hits of the year. The film has overtaken the lifetime collections of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s Param Sundari (₹86 crore) and Rajkummar Rao’s Bhool Chuk Maaf (₹91 crore).
While Saiyaara, which grossed over ₹575 crore, remains the undisputed box-office leader among romantic films this year, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has carved its own space as a mid-budget success story fueled by positive word of mouth.
