Police intercepted a Bolero vehicle engaged in cattle smuggling near Renupada road under Mukulisi Panchayat in Balasore district.
Police officials reported that the Bolero driver sped away after spotting the patrol team. However, the Basta police successfully chased and stopped the vehicle. Moreover, the driver managed to escape from the spot using tricks, but the police seized the vehicle.
Authorities confirmed that eight cattle were rescued and later sent to the Balasore Gosala for safe custody. Furthermore, Basta IIC Ranjit Kumar Sahu stated that the police registered a case under Case No. 509/25 and initiated further investigation.
