East Coast Railway GM Inspects Khurda Road Station, Reviews Passenger Safety

East Coast Railway General Manager, Parmeshwar Funkwal, conducted a comprehensive inspection of Khurda Road Railway Station on Saturday.


The inspection focused on reviewing passenger amenities, safety arrangements, station facilities, cleanliness and catering services.

During the inspection, Funkwal visited different areas of the station, including booking offices, passenger waiting areas, circulating areas, foot overbridges, platforms and catering units. He interacted with officials and reviewed the quality of passenger services being provided at the station.

The ECoR GM reviewed arrangements related to safety, crowd management, cleanliness and maintenance of station premises. He also interacted with passengers and catering stall staff and reviewed the quality of services being provided at the station. He stressed the importance of maintaining high standards of hygiene, passenger amenities and customer satisfaction, while directing officials to address passenger concerns promptly and effectively.

Funkwal underscored the need for continuous monitoring of safety measures and passenger amenities to ensure safe, efficient and comfortable railway services. He advised officials to remain focused on passenger-centric development and service excellence.

D. Sunil, Divisional Railway Manager, Khurda Road Division, accompanied the General Manager during the inspection and reviewed the progress of various developmental and operational initiatives.
