Mumbai: The legendary actor Dilip Kumar’s mortal remains laid to rest at Juhu Qabarastan in Mumbai with full state honours on Wednesday evening.

The Padma Vibhushan awardee has been laid to rest following COVID-19 protocol in the presence of his close family members.
Kumar’s wife Saira Banu was also present at the burial ground where his last rites were being performed.
Kumar passed away in Mumbai on Wednesday morning after prolonged bouts of illnesses. Dilip Kumar had been admitted to the P.D. Hinduja Hospital on June 30 for a variety of age-related health issues.
Around 9.30 a.m., an ambulance carrying Dilip Kumar’s body left for his home in Bandra west, with his wife of 55-years Saira Banu Khan accompanying along with some family members.
